Dr. Andrew Rah
Longevity Medicine, Exercise and Recovery
At Prime Wellness in Woodland Hills, CA, Dr. Andrew Rah helps patients improve their strength, mobility, recovery, and long-term quality of life through a personalized approach to longevity medicine, exercise, and whole-body wellness.
Dr. Rah is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who has practiced medicine since 1997. After decades of experience treating complex spinal and musculoskeletal conditions, he has expanded his focus to helping patients remain active, resilient, and independent as they age.
Drawing from his extensive background in orthopaedics and spine care, Dr. Rah understands how movement, strength, physical conditioning, and proper recovery can influence overall health and longevity. He works with patients to develop individualized wellness strategies based on their current health, physical abilities, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
Dr. Rah’s areas of focus include longevity medicine, personalized exercise guidance, mobility, strength, physical performance, injury prevention, and recovery optimization. He also incorporates supportive wellness therapies such as red light therapy and cold plunge therapy to complement healthy lifestyle habits and individualized recovery plans.
At Prime Wellness, Dr. Rah takes a comprehensive approach to healthy aging. Rather than focusing on a single treatment, he encourages patients to build a sustainable foundation that may include regular exercise, strength training, mobility work, proper recovery, quality sleep, healthy nutrition, and evidence-informed wellness therapies.
Red light therapy may be used to support recovery, cellular function, and overall wellness, while guided cold plunge therapy may help promote physical resilience, post-exercise recovery, and a greater sense of well-being. Every recommendation is personalized according to the patient’s medical history, comfort level, physical condition, and wellness goals.
Whether you want to remain active as you age, improve your strength and mobility, recover more effectively from exercise, or create a more proactive plan for long-term wellness, Dr. Rah and the Prime Wellness team are here to help.
His goal is to combine medical experience, personalized exercise strategies, modern recovery therapies, and compassionate guidance to help patients feel stronger, move better, and maintain a high quality of life.
Dr. Rah earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Brown University and received his medical degree from New York Medical College, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his surgical internship and orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, followed by advanced fellowship training in spine surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. His professional memberships have included the North American Spine Society, California Orthopaedic Association, American Medical Association, and Los Angeles County Medical Association.
Dr. Rah has also presented research at national medical meetings and has contributed scientific articles and chapters to spine textbooks.
Outside the office, Dr. Rah enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his wife and three sons. His personal commitment to an active lifestyle reflects the same principles he shares with patients: move consistently, recover intentionally, and take a proactive approach to lifelong health.
At Prime Wellness, patients can expect experienced care, personalized longevity strategies, and a supportive wellness experience focused on helping them stay active, feel stronger, recover better, and live well at every stage of life.
